Official language of Portugal, Brazil, Angola, and Mozambique — relevant for Egyptian/Gulf trade with Brazil and Lusophone Africa

Portuguese translation requests are mostly commercial, tied to trade with Brazil (the largest Portuguese-speaking market by far) and, to a lesser extent, Lusophone African countries like Angola and Mozambique — import/export contracts and product documentation are the most common. European and Brazilian Portuguese differ noticeably in vocabulary, spelling conventions, and verb usage; for Brazilian clients we translate into Brazilian Portuguese specifically rather than European Portuguese, since the two are not interchangeable in a business context.
